You have heard it time and time again.  You only have one chance to make a first impression.  That is why it is so important for anyone thinking of selling a home to have it picture perfect.  Here are just a few things that can be done to prepare for your home for the market.

  • Remove clutter from entire home.  This includes to many objects on furniture, kitchen counters, closets and walls

  • Kitchen and Bathrooms should be sparkling clean.

  • Remove any personnal photos form walls and shelfs

  • Clean carpeting and vacuum drapery

  • Make certain all rooms are odor-free

  • Replace burned out light bulbs and make sure all light switches are working.

  • Go around the perimeter of the house and remove all garbage and clutter

  • Make sure shrubs, bushes and lawn are well maintained
